Film Sector (Example one)- Flight Plan
How the script is Laid out and use of communication
Flight plan script uses the courier font which is used to estimate the length of a film based on the length of the script. This tells the editor how long the scenes will be. The layout for this script includes a subheading to show if the action of a film will take place inside or outside. For example, the script uses the word INT to show that the action is taking place inside the place and EXT to show the action is outside. This is effective because it tells the director of the film what they will need to do to make the film as best as possible. The script also includes character names on what the actors of the film are going to be acting as. Additionally, it includes action lines which gives guidance to actors on specifically how the character should feel at that given time. The first action line ‘who sits, numb...’ creates the feeling of hopelessness to the audience making the audience feel empathy to the character.
Narrative of Story and Appeal to audiences
Some of the character names have extensions next to them to illustrate how the dialogue on the characters is heard to the audience. An example shown from the Flight Plan Script shows the character David with (O.S) which means off screen beside the name. It is used to communicate to the editor that the character is speaking to other characters that the audience cannot see. Additionally, the use of the off-screen extension next to the character on the script creates curiosity to the audience. This is designed to make the result of the story of the film more interesting to watch as, which might appeal to young adults or friends.

Comparison between Sectors
Formats
Looking at all the Sectors I have done so far for the Film Sector and TV-Series Sector they all use similar fonts which is called the courier. However, the radio Sector does not use the courier font. Another similarity between all the script sectors I have done so far is that they all have a list of characters showing what they are going to say.
